When renovating your kitchen or bathroom and attempting to save on the up front cost can turn out to cost you more in the long term
Example Below of mistakes that can happen when not receiving the proper customer service.
When shopping at the big box store for a bathroom or kitchen home renovation project often one might think, I just want to keep this simple. But this approach is not always in your best interest to achieve the results you are hoping for.
These pictures were taken at a home showing that the homeowner did not calculate and take in account this type of vanity, location and cabinet width. This vanity is not built to be tight up against a return wall but is meant to be more in a floating position like a piece of furniture up against the wall. Hence look at the vanity pulled about 3/4" of an inch from the return wall why, so that when trim goes on the door the drawers will open and not hit the trim. This appearance from an esthetic point of view is not ideal let alone a void space to trap small items like jewelry and many others.
The space between the vanity and toilet is a problem for most adults when using this commode in a seating position. Anyone without a design background would notice this and recognize this is not enough clearance to be comfortable.
This can cause long term problems especially for anyone who is elderly or suffers from any kind of physical pain which will only be a larger problem with such a tight squeeze between the vanity and toilet. These kind of decision are done with a short sided view of the project without taken in account the long term issues which will usually require more work down the road to fix what could have been avoided in the first place.
